Roctronics Fogger

From Theatre Design & Technology, Winter 1982

Uses non-oily, nonflammable, vanilla-scented fog juice in a one gallon tank.
A heavy metal shield protects the Fogger from impact and keeps users away from the heating chamber. To use, one simply plugs it into a standard wall outlet. A thermostatically controlled pilot light on the machine informs the operator when the Fogger is up to operating temperature. A thick 'Whoosh!' of dense white smoke emerges from the Fogger whenever the Activator Button on the end of a 50' Control Cable is depressed. Additional 50' lengths can be added without limit. This sends a safe low-voltage signal through the remote Control Cable to the Fogger's solenoid valve. An electric pump, found only on the Roctronics Foggers, draws liquid fog juice from the one gallon tank and forces it into the very hot vaporization chamber. The liquid fog juice immediately vaporizes into a high pressure, dense white gas which shoots out the nozzle in a 15' long plume. As long as the remote Activator Button is depressed, dense white vanilla-scented clouds will billow out. The electric pump guarantees a continuous, steady generation of fog.
