1983: Founded by Michael Adenau (MA). 
1985: Joined by software specialist Ernst Ebrecht. MA introduces the Lightcommander 24 and Lightcommander 48 consoles
1988: LCD 120 launches - first international tour with Bob Geldof and his LD Coral Cooper. MA products debut at PLASA and LDI shows. 
1992: MA Scancommander launches. 
1997: grandMA console launches.  
2000: grandMA light, grandMA replay unit and grandMA offline editor.
2001: grandMA ultra-light
2002/3: Software launched featuring bidirectional communication with the console and real-time 3D visualiser grandMA 3D. Software version 4 introduces gobo & fixture preview. 
2004: Software version 5 features up to 64 DMX universes (via 16 NSPs). Also launched dimMA, and grandMA on PC. 
2005: MA Net
2006: MA 2Port Node, MA 2Port Node onPC, MA 2Port Node onPC PRO.
2007: grandMA pico
2008: grandMA2 Series launches
2009: MA Video Processing Units pro/plus/basic (VPU) introduced.
