NEW THEATRE WORDS New Theatre Words is an illustrated international vocabulary, published by OISTAT in three volumes (see table below). Copies can be purchased through the Association of British Theatre Technicians (UK Centre of OISTAT). Words are systematically classified by reference number in a hierarchic fashion and are grouped together under topics and subtopics for easy and convenient translation. The topics for these groups are taken from the general concept of how a theatre works. Words, as well as topics and subtopics, have unique reference numbers.
