also, can anyone tell me what this train is on the front lot, right before the bungalows? where the trailers of actors usually are.

compares set 1955 to 1982 from personal photo collection
Personal pics from the set of Back of the Future taken while I was a security guard at Universal Studios.
Hey, I heard Steven Spielberg snuck onto the lot in a security uniform, so I took it to the next level and got a job there. I wanted the inside track and got it, even later meeting Spielberg on the Goonies dubbing stage, but that's another story.
They built the 1955 set first, then when I came back just two weeks later, they had rebuilt the same set for 1985, paving over the courthouse square park and completely remodeling all the storefronts and signage. Amazing! And they did this TWICE, since they originally shot the entire movie with Eric Stoltz, who was later replaced by Fox.
Oh, and one day Fox skateboarded over to me and actually gave me the time of day. I thought he was a pretty cool, down-to-earth guy.[/quote]

The train from from Earthquake is a Subway train thats white and red, thats deffinetly not from earthquake.
I'd say its from whatever is filming at the moment. _________________ ~You think they'll have that on the tour?~

| Dunno either, but see, that's the kind of prop pics I like to see, and have mentioned here. The unexpected, the hidden, the unknowns. |

Noone figured out what that subway train is yet? ill have to ask an employee next time i go. I went the other day, pretty busy/packed summer day at the park.
My pictures are now at this link http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h112/NFBVacancy/Universal%20Studios/
not sure if i posted it before, but i took a few pics from last visit. Ill be posting a few more soon, they are building a huge cave interior set for national treasure 2, over the blue backdrop on the backlot. You can see inside a lil bit too!
They are doing some construction on the "time depot" store( now where there are prop displays in the windows).
I didnt notice these before, perhaps theyre new, i posted pics of them. The face casts during the walkway for the House of Horrors (includes face casts of famous actors from horrors movies including Anthony Hopkins, Bruce Campbell, etc.). |

| Well, where was Final Destination 3 filmed at? Maybe this is a sub car used for the scenes at the end of the film, perhaps? |

The tunnel set that there are photos of is not from that second National Treasure movie. It finished filming way before the set started construction. The tour guides have it wrong, but Universal will not say what movie it is for. _________________ Never give up, never surrender, and dare to be different! |
