This lightweight unit, for an internally silica coated lamp, provides and highly efficient evenly distributed beam over a wide area.
The 18 inch diameter ellipsoidal reflector provides a large area source resulting in near-shadowless illumination. The lampholder is pretilted from the optical axis to reduce the depth to the minimum.
These units are recommended for soft-lighting in television and photographic studios.
