Patt.43A - 1000W Batten Spot 18-54 degrees. 6 x 10 inch plano-convex lens, spherical reflector, lead screw focus. Cast aluminium front, back & sides. Introduced 1931, withdrawn 1940. 
Variant with direct-action solenoid colour change introduced 1931, withdrawn 1940. 

Patt 43B (shown as Patt.43 in 1945 catalogue) - 1000W Stage Spot - 13-42 degrees - 6 inch diameter lens. Class B1 or A1 GES lamp. Weight 25lbs. 
Replaced 1960 by Patt.243. 

Patt.43C 125W (3 pin BC) UV version of Patt.43. Introduced c.1955
