Fascinating Interview with the wonderful Simon Wood, Sound Technician at the London Palladium (1969-1976), Theatre Projects  and Victoria Palace Theatre (to 1986). Simon talked about his time working in theatre very fondly, and says they were the happiest days of his life. He talks about how he started in theatre, the sound equipment he was using, how the role of technician changed from frantically reconfiguring the system every day for a different artist, to being more of a janitor / caretaker when long-running shows are on.
