- The Roundabout Theatre Company purchased the newly successful venue
- Cabaret (November 12 1998 – January 4 2004)
- 1998 – The theatre became the home of the Roundabout Theatre Company after a construction accident adjacent to the Henry Millers Theatre. Their production of Cabaret moved into Studio 54.
- 1986 – The disco was closed and the building fell into disrepair
- 1977 – After years of neglect, the theatre was turned into a star-studded disco.
