IDM  (1965 December)
Strand

First fully working lighting control system with Instant Dimmer Memory.
This first version was known as IDM/DL. It was later redesigned and re-named MSR (or IDM/MSR).
A total of 20 IDM/DL or IDM/MSR systems were installed between 1966 and 1972.
By mid 1967, IDM/DL systems were ordered and under construction for:
Haymarket Theatre (120 channels)
New Theatre, Oslo (140 channels)
Opera House, Budapest (220 channels)
Yorkshire Television Centre, Leeds.
IDM/R systems were also ordered for National Centre of Performing Arts in Ottawa.
